Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro Glide in India, Its price?

For Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has two variants, the first has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory will sell for 9,999 rupees (equivalent to Rp 2.1 million).

As for variants that have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory estimated at 11,999 rupees (equivalent to Rp 2.4 million).

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro also comes in two variants. The first variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, the price starts from 13,999 rupees (equivalent to Rp 2.9 million), while for variants with 6GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory sold for 16.999 rupees (equivalent to Rp 3.6 million).

Both Xiaomi products have dual SIM 4G VoLTE capability. The screen has a 5.99 inch FHD + span with 18: 9 aspect ratio.

For the camera, Redmi Note 5 features 12MP rear camera and 5MP front camera with LED selfie-light.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro has a dual camera behind the system with 12MP sensor and 5MP are arranged in a vertiakal manner. Then, the front camera equipped with Sony IMX376 20MP sensor and LED selfie-light.

For kitchen runway, Redmi Note 5 is supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC and Adreno 506 GPU.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro sustained Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC with Adreno 509 GPU.

For information, Redmi Note 5 Pro is the first Xiaomi smartphone to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 is included with 8x Kryyo 260 processor cores.

Xiaomi released Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in Indonesia on February 14, 2018. In that occasion, Country Manager of Xiaomi Indonesia, Steven Shi, clearly demonstrated the advantages of both smartphones, both in terms of price and specifications, and compare it with competitors.

Steven in his presentation showed the Samsung J2 Prime and Oppo A37 as the main competitor Redmi 5. Redmi 5 selling price is more expensive around Rp 100-200 thousand, but superior in terms of specifications.

The advantages of Redmi 5 include larger screen size, which is 5.7 inches with 18: 9 aspect ratio, 3,300mAh battery, and higher RAM and internal memory capacity.

The Redmi 5 Plus becomes the challenger Vivo V7 + and Oppo F5. All three do have an aspect ratio of the same screen 18: 9, but Steven claims the smartphone is superior especially in terms of battery capacity.

Nevertheless, the difference specification Redmi 5 Plus with both not so much. Xiaomi even sell it for less.

Vivo V7 + sold around Rp 4.3 million (4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory) and Oppo F5 USD 4 million (4GB RAM and 32GB memory), but Redmi 5 Plus is cheaper.
