Huawei Allegedly Falsified Reviews Mate 10 Pro

Huawei's plan to reap a positive impression ahead of the maiden smartphone's first sale of Mate 10 does not seem to run smoothly.

The issue of counterfeiting reviews of Mate 10 Pro is rumored to begin when Huawei held a contest in the 60,000-member Facebook group on Wednesday (31/1)

The contest requires group members to post comments on the pre-sale page on the Best Buy site and the winner has the opportunity to test the Huawei Mate 10 Pro phone in beta form. Strangely, the company removed the contest announcement from the group.

The strangeness does not stop there, because Best Buy's pre-sale page contains 108 positive reviews, and about 103 reviews are written right or even after January 31st when the contest is over.

Another weird thing is then known to many people who write reviews about Huawei Mate 10 Pro without holding the product first. Nevertheless, they still give 5 stars for a product that they have never even seen.

The company based in Shenzhen, China was allegedly doing the practice in order to perpetuate the sale of anyarnya products in the US. Huawei does not yet have an authorized operator in America, despite already offering Huawei Mate 10 Pro purchase through pre-order system.

Efforts to involve potential users who make reviews Huawei Mate 10 Pro is believed to boost sales and public confidence. But the fraudulent move is expected to lower public confidence in Huawei's latest product.

In fact, Best Buy has confirmed Huwei Mate 10 Pro as a product that meets their standards and regulations. However, the issue of counterfeit reviews can actually be a stumbling block to the rival state of the Redmi.

"We reserve the right not to upload a review of your product if it violates Best Buy's rules," explains the retailer through the site.

Content violations in the review include advertisements, spam and references that target products, offers, and other sites. Counterfeit reviews about the product are mostly known to contain advertisements, because they are done to win the contest even though they have never held the product.

Reported The Verge, Huawei's brand-new products are counted over to penetrate the US market. The issue of confidence and security of past incidents, plus the absence of operators willing to bring products to the market added to Huawei's stumbling block.

AT & T and Verizon operators are known to market the Mate 10 Pro, while Cicso picked up Huawei for allegedly stealing source code and spying on the Chinese government.
