Cheaper Prices, Benchmark Oppo A83 Exceeds F5 Youth

The results of the Oppo A83 and F5 Youth benchmarks are quite interesting. Because the F5 Youth has a higher specification than the A83, as well as the selling price.

Based on benchmark test results conducted PR Manager Oppo Indonesia, Aryo Meidianto, A83 get a score of 80,205, while F5 Youth scored 66,991. It performs a test using the benchmark application, AnTuTu.

According Aryo, the possibility of A83 score higher due to screen resolution factor.

"The difference is reasonable, because the size and resolution of the A83 screen is lower than the F5 Youth, so the result is higher," said Aryo in Media Experience Oppo A83 session in Jakarta area on Wednesday (21/2/2018).

Oppo equips A83 with a 5.7-inch screen and a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. Oppo F5 Youth itself has a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels.

In terms of other specifications, both have a number of similarities that octa-core processor 2.5GHz Helio P23, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

Front camera specifications were the same ie 13MP with aperture f / 2.2. However, both have a number of differences beyond the screen, including the rear camera and battery.

Oppo A83 Will Never Turn Off F5 Youth Market

A83 benchmark results may be higher than F5 Youth, but Aryo is optimistic both will not harm each other's target market. Oppo A83 itself targets younger consumers from the age range 17-25 years.

"This (Oppo A83) is not fusing the F5 Youth market because some people want a more affordable price with more or less the same features without a big screen, they can consider this (A83) .But, who wants a bigger screen can choose F5 Youth," revealed Aryo.

In addition, Aryo said, series A and F have segment differences. Series A is in the middle segment, while F for middle to top. Therefore, the specification of Oppo F series smartphones is also far superior.

The main difference between the two series is usually seen from the camera specification.

"F series is more powerful in the front of the camera, A series may be the same, but not always like the F series.F series usually use a better camera sensor and more mature development, so it can be said the F series sensor is more okay and megapikselnya higher," Aryo.
